Updated. The strange thing is that Doke lists -bopha both as arrest and imprison although that's no the same. Is that correct?

they are essentially the same- if you are arrested you are in custody

As I understand, the English "to arrest" can mean both "to seize" and "to imprison". Being caught by the police doesn't necessarily mean you go to jail, does it?
