Is there anyone who can help me with the meaning of kandandlovu (as in the river). I have also seen it spelt as nkhandandlovu and umkandandlovu. Can anyone provide me with the correct spelling and translation?

Thanks for the help! The Kandandlovu River is located in Munster on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast, so I am pretty sure it is a Zulu word. Does this help?

Yebo and thanks for all the replies. The Kandandlovu River does exist, I assure you, as does the tiny town of Munster. it is just past Palm Beach on the way to Port Edward. To see a picture, go to Google Earth and type in the coordinates 30 59 37 S, 30 15 58 E
